Whisky brand Johnnie Walker has created the Liquid Light installation, made in partnership with art collective Marshmallow Laser Feast.

The Event Explains

This groundbreaking installation represents the pinnacle of extensive research and development, exploring the intricate balance between strength and fragility in the medium. The installation’s centrepiece features an array of glass-blown droplets suspended in mid-air, collectively symbolising the evolution of form over time.

As a brand rooted in progress, Johnnie Walker has always strived to break boundaries. The brand is unveiling a first-of-its kind, boundary-breaking innovation during the Festival, which is brought to life by the Landmark Project.

An experiential artist collective, Marshmallow Laser Feast’s work looks to reinterpret the idea of human perception and experience. Employing a wealth of creative disciplines and underpinned by research, they invite participants to navigate with a sensory perception beyond the everyday.

Johnnie Walker presents Liquid Light takes place from 14 to 22 September 2024 at The Old Selfridges Hotel, 1 Orchard St, London W1H 6HJ, UK.

“The partnership arose as a natural consequence of the harmony between the two brands, who share the same commitment to quality, elegance and exclusive, trend-setting style.  As part of the immersive space, Kartell’s new furniture collections are adorned with Liberty’s fabrics and prints, where the colourful and floral patterns are brought to life through the sculptural design compositions that will transform the ground floor of the store into a creative Eden.”
